BIO
A Connecticut native, I am as passionate in my personal life as I am in my professional life. I adore spending time with my husband, Steve, and our two felines, Muirne and Manchego at our home by the brook in New Hartford. When not at home, we can often be found at Renaissance Festivals or Steampunk events. My artistry and passion overflows from photography into cooking, gardening and traveling.
Over the years I have volunteered my photographic talents to assist with The American Cancer Society, the Connecticut Heart Gallery, and Our Companions Domestic Animal Rescue. Most recently, I have been devoting time as an Approved Digital Retoucher for the organization, Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, providing families with heirloom portraits of their precious babies who were taken from this world way too soon.
My proudest professional achievements were receiving my Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) status and walking the stage in San Antonio, Texas at Imaging USA to receive my Master of Photographer degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I have been honored to have my images published in the PPA Loan and Showcase Books as well as numerous other travel publications over the last twenty years.
